MGM receives CSR Award: On April 27, MGM proudly received the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” at the 6th Cross-Strait-Four-Region Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award Ceremony organized by The Mirror Post of Hong Kong, the only private sector enterprise in Macau to receive this award. Sincere thanks to all our employees who help to make MGM a caring place to work, and one that strives to better its community and environment.

Distributing food hampers to Macau Holy House of Mercy: On April 1, MGM donated MOP300,000 to the Welfare Shop of Macau Holy House of Mercy to help distribute food hampers over 350 disadvantaged households in Macau with the help of our MGM Volunteer Team for the fifth consecutive year.

Supporting local entrepreneurs: On April 12, Together the Macau Youth Entrepreneur Association (MYEA), MGM co-organized the “Young Entrepreneur Seminar” held onsite at MGM MACAU. The Seminar provided essential information to young entrepreneurs about setting up a Macau business, with key information on areas such as regulations and subsidies relating to small and medium-sized companies.

Spotlighting social inclusion: On April 17, MGM once again sponsored and hosted the “Conference on Intellectually Disabled People in Asia”, organized by the Charity Association of Macau Business Readers. The conference highlighted the importance of creating a more welcoming world for us all, where our individual differences are appreciated and respected. In tandem, MGM also organized an art workshop for over 100 of the Special Olympics Golf athletes, under the guidance of local artists from Art For All Society as well as MGM’s Volunteer Team.

This conference was held in parallel with the Special Olympics Golf Masters, which took place between April 19 and 21, and welcomed athletes to Macau from around the world. Several of our senior executives paired up with the Special Olympics athletes to vie for the tournament trophy in the spirit of teamwork, competition, and camaraderie.

MGM supports Health & Safety Fun Day:On April 9, MGM took part in the “Catering Industry Occupational Health & Safety Fun Day” organized by the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region (DSAL). Open to the public, MGM team members joined in on the fun games, while learning important information about health and safety.

MPI forum on Responsible Gaming: On April 27, MGM participated in the Forum on Macao Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprises and Corporate Social Responsibility, with the theme of “Responsible Gaming”. The Forum included presentations from all 6 integrated resorts in Macau, as well as from the Macao Federation of Trade Unions and the Macao Polytechnic Institute. MGM’s Director of Casino Talent Development and Responsible Gaming presented on MGM’s unwavering commitment to promote responsible gaming practices to its employees and community.

A golden exhibition!: MGM joins forces with Le French May once again to present “A Golden Way of Life – Très’Ors”, an exhibition curated by Anne Camilli from Le Musée à la Carte® and Gilles Bonnevialle of Maecenae. Running from April 21 - September 3 at the MGM Art Space in MGM MACAU, the exhibition invites the public to discover how the wonders of this precious metal have inspired and fascinated French artists and craftsmen through time. The exhibition will present an incredible selection of 250 golden works of art, uniquely brought together from far-flung museums and private collections.

Also in honor of Le French May, as well as the Très’Ors exhbition, Le French GourMay (which this year celebrates the French region of Champagne) returns to MGM’s French restaurant, Aux Beaux Arts, presenting a golden menu of champagne-infused delicacies showcasing the rich flavors of the region.
