WELCOME TO OUR MGM SUSTAINABILITY NEWSLETTER
We’re doing a lot behind the scenes at MGM to reduce our impact on the environment and support the people that mean the most to us, including all our employees and community. Contributing to a better Macau through our arts and culture program is also an important aspect of our approach. Through this newsletter we will share our monthly sustainability highlights with you, and hope you will join us in our sustainability programs to help us Create a Better Tomorrow Today.

We joined together with 17 of MGM Resorts International properties in honor of this global conservation effort by dimming the property’s exterior lighting, with all treatment rooms at Tria Spa powering off and illuminating treatment rooms with ambient candles.

To support low carbon living and raise awareness that our day-to-day actions can have an impact on the environment and contribute to climate change, MGM MACAU officially launched Green Monday in the employee dining room on March 20 (and continuing every Monday thereafter!). A special menu has been created by our chefs that is both low carbon, and good for our health!
Environment
Fun events for team engagement: On March 24, we organized Be Green, Wear Green, a casual wear day reminding our team that by wearing cooler clothing (with a splash of green), we can keep the air-conditioning at acceptable levels to help save energy.
Environment
We ended the Campaign on a high note, finishing with our Go Green Fair on April 3 which was a fantastic funfair of games, prizes and information about MGM’s environmental sustainability program. This was led by MGM’s Green Team, which includes our green champions from across the company. We also arranged a selection of food stalls from organic and eco grocery stores from around Macau to present their green and healthy product options.
